Meet The Doctor

Mark A. Pocrnich D.D.S.

Dr. Mark Pocrnich grew up in Northern Minnesota, in the small town of Buhl. Buhl's motto is "The Finest Water in America. Dr. Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 1975. He has instructed advanced General Practice residents as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Minnesota Dental School. He started his dental career at the Regional Center in Cambridge Minnesota where he continued to work for the next 27 years. Dr. Mark purchased his solo practice in 2002 and has been making smiles brighter ever since.

Dr. Pocrnich is a member of the Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association, and a current member of the OMS 21st Century Study Club. Dr. Pocrnich enjoys staying up to date on the latest topics and techniques in dentistry.

Dr. Mark has taken 7 mission trips providing dental care to under served populations In Honduras and Central America while volunteering for the Christian Medical Society. He was also a member of a team that went to Port Antonio, Jamaica to provide dental care to school age children.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Mark, his wife Suzanne and their daughter Tess enjoy many outdoor activities, game bird hunting, Yoga, taking care of their 3 horses and Tess’s competitive riding take up much of their spare time.

Destiny - LDA and Patient Coordinator

Destiny is a Licensed Dental Assistant and our Patient Coordinator. She graduated from Herzing University with honors in 2012 from their Dental Assisting Program. Destiny’s calm and efficient manner makes our patients feel at ease.

When not in the office Destiny and her husband enjoy spending time with their two boys Brantley and Ryker. They are now expecting a little girl in July of 2022. As a family they enjoy heading to their camper on the lake during the summer months. Along with snowmobiling, fishing, and playing with their dog Eva.

Marie – LDA and Patient Coordinator

Marie graduated from Herzing University as a Licensed Dental Assistant in 2003. In 2011 Marie began working the front desk as well as Assisting. She recently moved to the Cambridge area and started working in our office. Marie’s friendly and gently way help our patients feel right at home.

Marie and her husband have three children and three grandchildren and spend much of their free time with them. They also enjoy spending their summers in their camper on Rush Lake. Along with taking walks, boating and golfing.

Madison – LDA

Madison graduated from Hennepin Technical College in 2016 with her Associates of Science Diploma in Dental Assisting. She started her career in Shakopee where she grew up. She recently moved to Cambridge and began working with us. She excels with helping our patients feel comfortable while in the dental chair.

During her time outside of work she and her husband enjoy spending time with their two little boys Aeson and Waylon and their dog Scout. In the summer they spend much of their time outdoors camping, fishing and swimming.

Jessica – RDH

Jessica graduated with honors from Herzing University in 2011. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene after making a career change from owning her own real estate company. Jessica has an exceptional way of keeping our patients informed throughout their appointments and answering any questions they may have while creating a relationship making them feel right at home.

Jessica and her husband Steve have four children together. Two boys and two girls that are active in basketball and gymnastics. When they are not attending games they enjoy swimming, camping and baking. Jessica also has a love for her chickens, dogs and cats.

Therese – RDH

Therese obtained her Bachelor of Science for Dental Hygiene in 2005 from Eastern Washington University. She began her career in Washington and continued to Coeur d’Alene Idaho. She recently moved back to Minnesota in 2022 and became licensed with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry. Her thorough and efficient manner are what our patients enjoy most about her.

In her spare time Therese and her husband spend time with their 10 children and two grandchildren. They are also expecting two more grandchildren this year. They enjoy traveling, baking and hanging out at the beach in the summer.
